The Big Feastival

Jamie Oliver's Big Feastival 2012A quick hello from an eternally-sunny Birmingham.  This Sunday we scurry south to play at The Big Feastival – a splendid looking food and music festival founded by Jamie Oliver and Blur’s Alex James, all taking place on Alex’s farm in Oxfordshire.  Everyone on the bill sounds far more famous than us, so we’re pretty perky penguins to be invited!

Weekend tickets have sold out, but there are still a few day tickets available – http://www.jamieoliver.com/thebigfeastival/ has all the info.  We’ve heard reports of a Churros store on site, so if you’re coming you’ll know where to find us … come and extract a few of our new Release The Penguins stickers if you’re passing.  (Our) Jamie, meanwhile, is perfecting his renowned Hungarian recipe for blow-yer-socks-off Chilli Jam in time to upstage the UK’s celebrity chefs.

> Penguins waddle on …

Thanks to everyone who has invested in a copy of ‘Release The Penguins’ … our album has now survived in the wild for nearly three months, so a big thank you for your support.  Just in case a few Penguins have glided past un-noticed, you can still invest in a copy or download through our Emporium – http://www.tgcollective.com/emporium … we’ll even send you a free sticker, what more incentive could you need?

> Back to Mac

We’re returning to the theatre at Mac, Birmingham, where we first played for about 20 minutes many many moons ago as Trio Gitano, on November 30th … tickets are now on sale here … http://www.macarts.co.uk/event/tg-collective … we also hope to have the excellent Lluis Mather guesting with us on clarinet.
