Sound and Video

Well, almost.  The current absence of video footage does give the page a slightly misleading title, but we're looking forward to working with a splendid film-maker and photographer late this summer to produce a lovely film-fondue ready for autumn consumption.

With the sound element, however, we can be a little more useful ... Recorded in May 2007, the tracks below were the original sketches for our new album, which we have finally got round to recording this summer.  Hurrah!  Track 5 is a live recording, back from the halcyon days of late 2006, at the Stratford-upon-Avon Music Festival.

(You might need the free Flash Player to stream the tracks below.  Send us a nice message if you want an MP3 emailing over instead).

* Track 1 - Minor Swingers  (Jamie Fekete, Sam Slater) feat. Minor Swing (Django Reinhardt)

* Track 2 - S4MF Suite - Part II: Bulerias (Jamie Fekete, Sam Slater)

* Track 3 - On The Run  (Bryan Lester)

* Track 4 - S4MF Suite - Part I: Horace (based on Horace Silver's Song For My Father)

* Track 5 - Entre dos Aguas (Paco de Lucia) - Live, 2006

Tracks feature

Jamie Fekete | Sam Slater - guitars
Percy Pursglove - double bass
Holly Jones - flute
Louis Robinson - violin
Ana Garcia - palmas
